Dining rooms are one of my favorite things to work on. Why, you ask? Because all it really takes is an impactful lighting fixure, some thoughtful art on the walls, and some well placed accessories to take a boring place to eat, and turn it into a beautiful gathering space.
In this project, my client just wanted a revamp of his existing dining space. The walls were a basic tan, and the lighting fixtures came straight out of a cheesecake factory, so I really had my work cut out for me. The two biggest changes to this space, were the geometric pendant over the dining table, and the shape art on the walls. Those two things informed the rest of the design, and the result was a crisp, eclectic space full of life.
